Salty SGT Pork Butt

Pork butt/shoulder (6 to 7 lbs)
Salty SGT – Steak & Burger seasoning (1 Tbsp per pound of meat)
Apple juice (1/2 cup)
Water (4 to 6 cups)
Rub 6 to 7 pounds of pork butt/shoulder in Salty SGT seasoning (1 Tbsp per pound of meat). Coat evenly.
Set aside while you get the smoker ready.
Preheat smoker to 225F.
Put water in a heat resistant bowl and place in the smoker.
Once the smoker is heated, put the pork in uncovered.
Smoke until reaching an internal temperature of 195F (approximately 12 to 14 hours). Spray the pork every hour with apple juice, and reapply seasoning as needed.
Great things take time, but once your time is up enjoy!
Serves great on a bun and with a typical BBQ sides (baked beans, potato salad, etc.)
