Portabella Mushroom Burgers

Portabella mushroom caps (6)
Hamburger buns (6)
Hamburger (2 lbs, approximately 5 1/2 oz per patty)
Cheese (6 slices) of your favorite; we enjoy provolone or pepper jack.
Bunker Buster - Steak & Wild Game seasoning
Non-stick cooking spray
Preheat grill to 400F – 450F.
Spray both sides of mushrooms with nonstick cooking spray.
Alternatively, brush with melted butter.
Apply desired amount of Bunker Buster seasoning to both sides of the portabella mushroom caps, and hamburger patties. We recommend hand-crafting the patties with Bunker Buster mixed in.
Grill portabella mushrooms for 4-7 minutes on each side.
Grill hamburger patties to desired doneness.
Add a slice of cheese to each patty for the last 1 minute on the grill.
Lower the heat on your grill, and place the hamburger buns on the top rack. Keep the lid open, and take them off after slightly toasted.
Place portabella mushroom cap on top of burger, and garnish with your favorite toppings (lettuce, onion, tomatoes, pickles, etc.). Enjoy!
Mix Bunker Buster seasoning directly into meat before forming the hamburger patties.
